Unleash the Power of Categories in Microsoft® Outlook®

Categorize Plus is an add-in for Microsoft® Outlook® 2007 and 2003 that brings to life the power of Outlook Categories. Categorize Plus enables users to categorize, filter and search Outlook items so that information can be found quickly with the fewest possible keystrokes. This is accomplished by employing customizable menu hierarchies that contain category, filter and search criteria.

Customizable Drop Down Menus

Categorize Plus menus can be customized by adding user defined menu items that are used to categorize, filter and search Outlook items. These menu items are created using a full featured Menu Builder.

Once created, these menu items are used to either categorize Outlook items or to add filter and search combo boxes to the Categorize Plus toolbar. In addition, each of these combo boxes can be easily combined using logical AND, OR and NOT conjunctions to create complex filter and search criteria.

Filter and Search Combo Boxes

Categorize Plus employs drop down filter and search combo boxes that allow users to quickly change filter and search criteria. Each combo box contains AND, OR and NOT logical operators and these operators can be easily changed simply by selecting a new operator from the drop down list.

Dockable Category Editor

The Category Editor is a movable and dock-able window that is used to quickly edit Outlook item categories. The Category Editor can be docked either in the Outlook Navigator or in the Item List when using either Outlook 2007 or 2003. In addition, when using Outlook 2007, the Category Editor can also be docked in the To-Do Bar. For each docking location, the Category Editor can be docked either at the bottom, right or left edge of the Outlook pane. The Category Editor can also be docked on the top edge of the Item List and as a shared container in the Navigator and To-Do Bar panes.

Categorize Plus installs inside Outlook items for quick access to the Categorize Plus drop down menus. Categorize Plus integrates seamlessly into the Ribbon Bar in Microsoft® Outlook® 2007 and installs as a separate command bar in Microsoft® Outlook® 2003.

Auto-Categorize Wizard

Categorize Plus includes an Auto-Categorize Wizard that assists users in converting from using folders to using categories by automatically categorizing items using folder and sub-folder names.

This wizard also automatically creates category menu items in the Categorize Menu such that the menu structure mirrors the folder hierarchy.

Categorize Plus includes a dedicated options dialog with numerous options to configure Categorize Plus.

Select to auto-categorize by subject when items are added to the Inbox, Calendar, Task and Sent Items folders
Select to auto-erase categories when sending and receiving items.
Choose which drop down menus to install.
Choose in which item types to add the Categorize Plus menu.
Choose to save the Combo Boxes by view, folder, item type or save the same for all.
