Has anyone had trouble removing shortcuts in Beta 2 ofo Outlook 2007. I
cannot remove the shortcuts I have created. Don't get an error, they just
won't delete. Also, I cannot move or resize the shortcuts workspace. As a
result if I add more than the space alloted - in my case 7 - then I get an "
array out of bounds" error adding more. If the workspace is not full I can
add until it is...

You go to the shortcuts pane and create enough shortcuts to fill up the
shortcuts workspace. You then get the error when you try to add more. Also,
you cannot resize this space like you could in Outlook 2003.

It's the place that your shortcuts show up in when you create them...
It has "Microsoft Office Online" and then under that it lists all your
shortcuts.
The heading for the spot is called "Shortcuts".

So, you are talking about the Shortcuts navigation pane? How many shortcuts did you create? In how many groups? What was the name and target of the last one you created, the one that triggered the error?

I created 7 all in one group. The last one was to a public folder (last 3
actually), the one that gave me an error was also a public folder. I tried
add a normal mailbox as well (subfolder of the inbox). When that didn't work
I tried a great many folders..
If I delete the xml file that holds the shortcut info I can then restart
outlook and add more shotcuts, but the same thing happens. Whenever the last
shortcut that fits in the space for shotcuts is added no more can be created.
I get "array out of bounds" error and cannot resize the box to make it bigger.

What was the exact name of that public folder?

I added 45 shortcuts before I got bored and the shortcut space acquired a scroll bar, making it easy to roll through them all.
