I haven't seen this specific issue really addressed here. My Outlook 2003
is super slow starting up. I literally takes 5 minutes to start up. It has
always done it - I have it about 2 years. After starting up, it works fine.
Messages send quickly, message receive quickly. Everything seems to work
fast once it starts up. I have a relatively small .pst file - about 20meg.

Any advice? Thanks

It may not be closing correctly so outlook needs to check the pst. After
closing it, check task manager to see if its still running.

I tried your recommendation and it didn't work. Now, I am getting an error
message, something about "outlvb.dll".
