Kathleen,

I verified Outlook was not running in Task Manager. Also the PST file
appears to be around 1.4GB. Any other ideas?

Thanks

Kathleen,

Scanpst hangs up as well after I select the PST file. The error message for
it is:

szAppName : SCANPST.EXE szAppVer : 5.5.2174.0 szModName : hungapp
szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000

Could I copy the pst file to another computer that runs Outlook 2000 and try
scanning it their? I am grasping at straws but desperately need items in my
inbox and contact database. Thanks again for your response.
