SkypeContact is an Outlook plug-in which integrates Skype VOIP Telephony and instant messaging with Microsoft Outlook into a convenient toolbar phone dialer. With SkypeContact add-in you can make Skype VOIP phone calls, conference calls , SkypeOut calls to non-Skype users, redial, and start Skype Instant Messenger chats directly from your contact list, tasks, appointments and e-mails in Outlook. In addition, you can "Journal" Skype calls and use standard Outlook dialer on the Outlook SkypeContact toolbar.
Main Features:
- See who is online from selected items on Outlook toolbar. Automatic lookup Skype status (online / offline) of Outlook contacts from the selected e-mail, contact, task, or appointment. Only contacts related to the selected Outlook item are shown.
- Make Skype Calls directly from Microsoft Outlook. Call Skype-to-Skype for Free, if a person is online, or select a contact's phone number for a SkypeOut call directly from the Outlook toolbar. All phone numbers of selected Outlook Contacts are available from the drop-down menu to make VoIP calls using Skype instantly. When an Outlook item (email, task, appointment) is selected, SkypeContact retrieves and shows all contacts. There is no need to switch between applications. Use standard Skype Actions (call, chat, etc.) directly from Outlook. Start the Skype chat (instant message conversation), send file, view profile or start a conference call directly from the Outlook toolbar, contacts, e-mails, tasks, and meetings.
- Redial the last dialed numbers quickly and easily. Select a contact from the redial list and your call will be placed immediately. Up to 99 numbers can be stored in the redial option.
- Smooth Skype and Microsoft Outlook integration with extended features. SkypeContact is a Microsoft Outlook and Skype plug-in, working without annoying security prompts, or interference with Outlook. You can record Journal entries for all Skype calls. Outlook dialer is available on the SkypeContact toolbar and can be used when Skype is offline or when you need to use the landline. The SkypeContact toolbar is available inside the email messages, contacts, tasks, and appointments forms.
